Organisations that have genuinely rebuilt resilience share three structural features: they have reduced single-source API dependencies to below 20% of their critical-product portfolio, they have established pre-qualified secondary and tertiary manufacturing sites with current regulatory filings rather than theoretical fallback options, and they have embedded supply risk metrics into executive compensation scorecards. That last point is more consequential than it sounds. When supply resilience is measured and rewarded at the same level as revenue growth, capital allocation decisions change materially.
